Adventure Maker is a a free toolkit that allows you to create your own games and other multimedia applications for Windows, PSP, iPhone, and iPod touch. The concept of this program is very simple. You just import your pictures (drawing, photos, etc.) and then create some hotspots to link the pictures. All the projects are made by frames that are basically pictures containing hotspots and other objects. The program comes with a step-by-step tutorial and tips that will help you create your first project in a snap. It also comes with a bunch of pictures for the projects and also sample projects that you can use as a model for creating your own.
This tool is intended to create small programs for personal use, but if you are interested in creating more advanced or professional projects, you should definitely buy the full version. With the free version you will be able to create first-person adventure games, educational software, interactive content, and presentations, whereas the full-version allows you to create 360-degrees panoramas and third-person adventure games.
The user interface is weird. You will find a main menu floating in the background which contains all the available options and as you click on one of them, new detached windows are opened beside it. However, once you get used to it, it is very comfortable and easy to use. In short, I suggest you try Adventure Maker and see all the things it offers.
